Joint certificate information

How to issue a certificate

  • Please note that when a certificate is issued to a Smartphone, the existing certificate will be discarded.
  • Corporate-use certificates cannot be issued in Smart Banking.
  • Only customers who have signed up for the Post Office’s Smart Banking service can be issued with a certificate.
  • Certificates issued to a Smartphone can be copied to a PC for use.

Import a joint certificate (PC-Smartphone)

  • When you copy a joint certificate stored on a PC to your Smartphone, you can make bank transactions using the same joint certificate on either your Smartphone or your PC.
    1. ① On your Smartphone, execute the SmartBanking program and select Certificate Center > Joint Certificate > Import a Certificate.
    2. ② Access the post office website (www.epostbank.go.kr) from a PC -> as follows; Certification Center > joint certificate > copy of smartphone certificate > copy (send) the Smart Savings App joint certificate
    3. ③ Select a certificate to be used and enter the certificate password.
    4. ④ Enter the 12-digit authentication number on the PC screen

Export a joint certificate (Smartphone-PC)

  • When you copy a joint certificate stored on your Smartphone to a PC, you can make bank transactions using the same joint certificate on either your Smartphone or your PC.
    1. ① On your Smartphone, execute the SmartBanking program and select Certificate Center > Joint Certificate > Export a Certificate.
    2. ② Access the post office website (www.epostbank.go.kr) from a PC -> as follows; Certification Center > joint certificate > copy of smartphone certificate > copy (import) the Smart Savings App joint certificate
    3. ③ After entering the certificate to be copied to the PC, enter the 12-digit authentication number displayed on the smartphone
    4. ④ Once the certificate has been copied from the Smartphone to the PC, check the completion information on the Smartphone and PC.

You can issue a certificate directly to your Smartphone, or you can copy the certificate issued to your PC onto your Smartphone.
